Transparent Sourcing. One-Year AIC Warranty.
AIC primarily sources from authorized distributors to support ongoing production. We identify sourcing routes in five categories and provide a one-year AIC warranty and failure analysis support across all categories.
Single point of contact
AIC receives and manages quality inquiries regardless of the sourcing category.
Failure analysis
AIC arranges analysis by the manufacturer or a third-party laboratory. If manufacturer analysis is unavailable, AIC arranges third-party analysis.
Scope and conditions
Analysis methods, schedule and cost allocation, together with replacement or refund terms, are explained in the quotation or transaction terms.
Failure analysis after a reported issue is separate from pre-shipment inspection. This policy does not mean that every shipped unit has undergone third-party analysis. Analysis may not establish a definitive root cause.
AIC Sourcing Route Categories
AIC-1
Direct Manufacturer Sourcing
Products purchased directly by AIC from the manufacturer.
Direct authorized sourcing
AIC-2
Authorized Distributor Sourcing
Products purchased directly by AIC from a distributor authorized for the relevant manufacturer and product. The same category applies to domestic and overseas distributors.
Our primary sourcing route
AIC-3
Verified Authorized-Route Sourcing
Products sourced through secondary distributors or trading partners, with purchase records from the manufacturer or authorized distributor linked to the relevant product and lot. OEM/EMS surplus is excluded.
Complements direct sourcing
AIC-4
Traceable Surplus Stock
Unused surplus purchased through authorized channels by OEMs, EMS providers or similar users. AIC reviews purchase history, storage conditions and packaging.
Supplementary supply for EOL parts and quantity gaps
AIC-5
Screened Independent Sourcing
Products purchased from independent suppliers that meet AIC screening criteria but do not meet AIC-1 to AIC-4 conditions. History, condition and required inspections are evaluated for each order.
Proposed with prior customer consent when standard routes cannot meet the requirement
Classification rules
- Categories describe sourcing routes and the available purchase history; they do not create different warranty periods.
- Domestic and overseas sources use the same criteria. Country or region is recorded separately.
- Classification is based on the product and lot, not only the supplier. AIC-held inventory retains its original sourcing category.
- A supplier relationship with an authorized distributor alone does not qualify a product for AIC-3. Product-linked records are required.
- Unscreened suppliers and products lacking the required verification are not proposed. AIC-5 is proposed with prior customer consent.

Not every inspection method is required for every project. We recommend an appropriate scope based on risk, cost and delivery requirements.
